From May 17–24, 2025, Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam embarked on an academic visit to Europe, beginning with a meeting with Prof. Dr. Thorsten Dickhaus, Professor of Mathematical Statistics, Vice Dean at the Institute for Statistics, University of Bremen, Germany. The visit fostered meaningful discussions on advanced statistical methodologies and opened new avenues for research collaboration between institutions.
Continuing the journey, Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam visited the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Vienna, Austria, where he had the privilege of meeting Univ.-Prof. Dr. Radu Ioan Boţ, Dean of Faculty of Mathematics. Their conversation centered on deepening academic ties, promoting joint research initiatives, and enhancing scholarly exchange in the fields of mathematics and optimization. This visit marks a significant step in strengthening international partnerships in mathematical sciences.
