On 8-15 February 2026, delegations from Thailand—Naresuan University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, and Chiang Mai University—
participated in the SAKURA Science Exchange Program at Shimane University, Japan.
The program featured an opening session and high-level academic discussions among university executives, faculty members, and researchers, focusing on:

🔹 Capacity building for students and early-career researchers
🔹 Strengthening sustainable academic networks between Japan and Thailand
