The workshop “Modern Approaches to Computational Mathematics” was successfully held on May 18, 2026, at SCL802, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). The event brought together students, researchers, and academics to explore modern computational mathematics, optimization, and physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) through insightful lectures delivered by the distinguished invited speaker, Prof. Dr. André Keller from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. The workshop provided valuable discussions on advanced computational techniques and emerging approaches for solving forward and inverse problems governed by partial differential equations (PDEs).
The event concluded successfully with active participation and inspiring academic exchange among attendees. On this occasion, Dr. Parin Chaipunya, a member of TaCS, warmly welcomed Prof. Dr. André Keller and participants throughout the workshop, contributing to the friendly and collaborative atmosphere of the event. The workshop also highlighted the growing importance of machine learning, scientific computing, and data-driven modeling in modern applied mathematics and interdisciplinary research.
