The TaCS Mathematics Seminar Series No.19 and Postdoc Seminar 1/2025, organized by the Center of Excellence in Theoretical and Computational Science (TaCS-CoE) and the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, KMUTT, were successfully held on October 28, 2025. The event featured a special invited talk by Prof. Dr. Jein-Shan Chen from National Taiwan Normal University, Taiwan, who delivered an insightful lecture on “Smoothing Functions for Sparse Optimization: A Unified Framework.”
The seminars also provided a platform for postdoctoral researchers and young scholars to present their recent works, exchange ideas, and foster research collaboration in mathematics and computational science. The organizers express sincere appreciation to all speakers and participants for making the event a meaningful success.
